Hobie Pro Angler 12 360 XR
The Pro Angler 12 360XR offers all the latest and very best features loaded onto a super stable 12ft hull. If you are wanting a craft that you can customise into a true fishing battleship, then it is hard to beat the Hobie Pro Anglers! Equipped with the Mirage Drive 360 for fine precision control of the kayak in all directions. The controls are located with the rudder steering handle and between the two you can move this kayak into the tighest of spaces and navigate the smallest of waterways. Perfect for pinpoint positioning when working a lure for a zander, or creeping amongst the margins stalking perch and pike. This makes the Pro Angler 360 series a top choice for predator lure fishing on lakes, lochs and reserviours, but also great for calmer coastal waters and estuary fishing.
The 360 drive comes fitted with Kick Up Turbo fins for worry-free pedalling - should you strike an object with the fins they simply kick up out of harms way to help reduce the risk of damage. The 360 XR drive steering system allows for steering tension adjustment, and directional lock for easier handling when travelling over longer distances, all accessed via a controls located in the drive-well and accessible whilst out on the water.
Hobie have loaded the Pro Angler kayaks with all the latest features for comfort and ease of use whilst on the water. Sit in comfort all-day long in the fully adjustable Vantage ST seating system, featuring Boa lumber support. With superior stability, the Pro Angler is great for stand-up casting and fishing, with grippy deck pads fitted to the cockpit for extra traction under-foot. H-Rails run alongside the kayak for easy accessory mounting using H-Rail accessories. The PA12 comes supplied with a H-Rail Cup Holder and 2 H-Rail Rod Racks! Replaceable mounting boards can be found towards the bow to allow easy mounting of further accessories. These feature integhrated H-Track for track mounting accessories, along with gear/tool hanging points.
The Pro Angler 12 360 XR has stacks of storage space and carrying capacity. There is horizontal storage for up to 4 rods and two additional vertical rod holders. The extra large front hatch comes with a hatch liner. A large rectangular hatch is located in front of the seat and houses a Pivoting Tackle Management System with 2 tackle boxes - great for keeping all your lures and tackle close to hand. A 8" twist lock hatch features at the stern for even more storage space, and if all that wasn't enough then there is a tackle storage space under the seat too! The large rear tankwell/cargo area will easily take a Hobie Livewell or H-Crate for further bait and tackle storage.
Want to add electronics? The Pro Angler 12 360XR is made for customising with fish finders and other electronics. The Hobie Guardian Retractable Transducer Shield allows you to raise and lower the transducer plate via a control cord in the cockpit - perfect for deploying large sidescan transducers after launching. The shield will automatically raise up if the transducer strikes an object. The shield will work with a wide range of transducer sizes and shapes. The Pro Angler 12 360XR also includes 3 x H-Plates with 2 x 3-Way Thru-Hull Cable Seals so you can easily run the wiring through the hull and fit the cable seals without drilling into the main hull.
Want to add motor power? Complete with 3 x motor mounting points at the stern, allowing you to easily add-on motor mounts from Bixpy, Torqueedo and Newport Vessel Motors. With a further motor mounting point at the bow, you can easily add a bow-trolling motor.
Other features include a retractable rudder system with dual steering from either side of the craft, a tracking skeg for improved straight line cruising, a 260cm 2-piece paddle with on-hull storage, front and rear carry handles, a sail mount and comes anchor trolley ready.
