Bixpy K-1 & J-2 Motor Power-Pole Adaptor

This adaptor allows you to easily fit a Bixpy K-1 or J-2 Motor to a 2019 and newer Hobie Outback, or 2025 and newer Pro Angler. The mount utilises the Power-Pole mounting point at the back of the Outback / PA - there are 4 x moulded-in threaded brass inserts, designed for the Power-Pole. This adaptor can be bolted straight onto these inserts! Once you have your Bixpy K-1 Motor Kit, all you will need is this adaptor to get it up and running on your 2019+ Outback or 2025+ Pro Angler.


The adaptor is quick-release, making it easy to put on and take off the motor at the start and end of each session. The adaptor is hinged to allow the motor to be hauled up out of the water for launching and landing. As standard the adaptor is locked into a 0-degree setting so that steering is achieved using the existing rudder on the Outback. Set screws can be removed to allow for 270-degree of steering rotation should you want to add an alternative steering mechanism. This adaptor includes all hardware required to fit to the Outback 2019+ and Pro Angler 2025+.

  • Quick release for getting on and off the water quickly
  • Hinge that allows the motor to lift completely out of the water
  • 8" to 13" from bottom of plate to bottom of motor - it is recommended that the bottom of your motor be about 3" to 5" below the waterline and more in choppy water as necessary
  • 270° of rotational trim - adapter ships with set screws in place. To achieve steering, set screws must be removed.
  • Includes all hardware required to attach to the Power Pole mounting point on the Outback 2019+ or Pro Angler 2025+
