Enigma Code Paddle
The Enigma Code is a carbon shaft paddle offering lightweight performance at a fantastic price! The carbon shaft has a 2-piece design with infinite feather adjustment and length adjustment - 215-225cm for the Code Red and Code Carbon, and 210-220cm for the Code Carbon Crank. The 215-225cm length adjustment suits a range of kayaks from narrower sit-in day tourers and sea kayaks, to wider sit-on-top kayaks and fishing kayaks. The 210-220cm adjustment on the crank shaft option suits sea kayaks, touring kayaks and most fishing kayaks. Having the option to adjust the length whilst out paddling also offers advantages to getting the most from your paddling in changing water conditions. The adjustable shaft ferrule clearly displays the feathering angle and length you can set your paddle at. The adjustment clamp features an easy to use lever-lock and is constructed from a corrosion resistant but tough plastic design for excellent durability in saltwater use. The shaft features ovalisation for good grip of the shaft whilst paddling.
The Code features a mid-sized blade design with a classic touring shape to suit a wide range of paddlers. These have excellent catch and power transfer during the paddle stroke and the di-hedral blade face provides smooth strokes with minimal blade flutter. This offers superb performance to translate the energy you put into a paddle stroke to propelling your kayak forwards with minimal energy loss!
Glass Blade and Carbon Blade design The carbon option offers a touch more stiffness in the blade and overall a lighter paddle. Both are lightweight and are a joy to use, especially for paddling over longer distances. The Glass Blade option weighs in at ~780g and the Carbon Blade option at just ~740g! Comes complete with a Paddle Bag to keep your paddle protected during transport and storage.
Full Carbon with Foam Core Blade and Cranked Shaft This is the top of the range Enigma Code paddle offering a full carbon build with a cranked shaft along with all of the advantages of a foam core blade at an unbeatable price. The foam core gives the blade additional volume and buoyancy as well as superior internal strength and a smooth back face. Like the others in the range the cranked shaft has a length adjustable ferrule which is ideal for use in changable conditions or to provide relief from repetitive movement on long paddles. These paddles are designed for ocean play, covering distance at sea, or paddling gentle inland waterways.
