Paddle floats are used to aid self-rescue and re-entry into your kayak after a capsize. The float is attached to a paddle blade and then the whole paddle is used as an outrigger to stabilise your kayak in an unassisted re-entry situation. Paddle floats can also be used to help when learning to roll a kayak. A useful piece of kit to carry on sea kayaks and touring kayaks. Solid Foam and Inflatable paddle floats available.
Palm Inflatable Paddle Float
The single air bladder construction is inflated by exhaling into a short tube with screw valve. The tube tucks away into a small pocket when not in use. Made with a welded centre seam and reinforced edging for durability.
