The Wavesport Scooter XT is the latest tandem design of the popular Scooter kayaks. This is one of the most popular double sit on top kayaks in the UK, and offers a little more performance than similar tandems. The XT has a sleeker design than many tandems making it ideal for coastal and inland water touring, fitness training and fun in the waves. For surfing the Wavesport Scooter XT it can help to use thigh straps. The Scooter XT will comfortably seat two adults, or one adult and one child. There is also a small space in the middle for a child to sit with two adult paddlers if required making this a great tandem for all the family. It also makes a great solo kayak, just fit one of the clip in seats in the central position to keep the hull well trimmed for solo paddling!
The Scooter XT Spec comes with 2 x WhiteOut padded backrests, these ensure comfort and great back support whilst on the water for longer paddling trips. The footwells are spacious and the leg room will suit taller paddlers. At 28kg, the Scooter XT is one of the lightest tandem kayaks and car-tops easily using a standard roof rack, thanks to the centrally located solid side handles. If you are after a lightweight tandem kayak with great performance for coastal paddling and longer paddling trips, the the Scooter XT is a great choice!
