Venture Islay 12 Touring Kayak
A stable touring kayak for exploring the water in comfort. Great for novice to intermediate paddlers wanting to head out on the local lake, cruise sheltered waterways and light costal exploring in calm conditions. The hull is shaped to provide confidence in stability, with a relatively sleek bow to provide good forwards speed. With the drop-down skeg system, you can track straight and concentrate on those paddle strokes to get you to your destination, without fighting to stay in a straight line.
Two storage compartments are seperated from the hull via bulkheads, so you can keep your gear secure - perfect for holding your lunch, daily essentials and even a small fold-up trolley. The Connect outfitting provides an adjustable seating system and adjustable footrests, whilst the spacious cockpit offers rooms to stretch and move on longer paddling trips.
