Pyranha Helectron
A design collaboration between freestyle experts Gui-Gui Prod and kayak manufacturing experts Pyranha, to bring you one of the most advanced freestyle playboat in a tough plastic construction. The Helectron brings a new generation of freestyle kayak to the market, for the serious playboat junkie wanting to nail the most complex of moves and compete in freestyle competitions. Building on the success of the Gui-Gui Prod Helixer, and with 5 prototypes tested over nearly 18 months throughout Europe, the Helectron was born to satisfy the demands of the freestyle paddler wanting the very best.
The Helectron brings several specific design features to improve on the Helixer. A squared bow profile helps the Helectron pop straighter out of the rotational moves such as McNasties and Phoenix Monkeys so you nail more landings within scoring angles. Volume has been added to the tip of the stern for more pop and air, perfect for hitting tricks like Lunar Orbits and Tricky Woo's, yet still easy to cartwheel to your hearts content. Dig in that bow and boost into big aerials and loops. The hard primary edge lets you carve it up, with a secondary edge that engages as you lean hard over to execute those inverted moves and nail those wave combos. The addition of stern boosters provide lift to the tail, keeping the bow down when surfing for increased speed for easier ollies, with some extra directional feel in the tail for precise control on take-off.

Rapid Backband Adjustment
Featuring high-grade aluminium racing cleats with an internal pulley to redirect the direction of pull towards the paddler, with 2:1 mechanical advantage for ease of getting a snug fit.

Adjustable bulkhead footrest, airbag lash points, quick-access throwline attachement point, bottle holder and carrying pads that rest on your shoulders and hip whilst carrying.
