P&H Virgo Corelite X Sea Kayak
The P&H Virgo is a compact, but uncompromising sea kayak, that's designed specifically for the day trippers and weekend paddlers. The Virgo offers a unique combination of ample speed for those short-to-medium journeys, whilst keeping the boat weight to a minimum, thanks to its size and CoreLite X construction. It's compact size, and complimenting weight make the Virgo easy to handle, both on and off the water. Whether it's getting the Virgo on and off the car, or carrying it down to the waters edge of your favourite launch spot, this lighter design makes a big difference.
Comparing to the other models in the P&H Sea Kayak range, the Virgo sits comfortably as the compact, playful sea kayak, better suited towards weekend trips. Usually kayaks of this size would feature increased hull capacities and oversized cockpits, but the nice thing about the Virgo is that P&H have retained all of the form factors and feauture-set you'd expect in any of their sea kayaks, in a compact kayak that loves to play.
The hull design of the P&H Virgo offers the right amount of rocker to maintain the boats manoeuvrability, yet with its v-hull design, also tracks incredibly well, with plenty of speed for its size. The Virgo's hard chines really allow you to engage the hull and put it on edge to make the exact adjustments you want to. This makes the Virgo a blast in ocean swell, and can be great fun at a small beach break.
The P&H Virgo is available in 3 sizes (Low-Volume, Medium-Volume, and High Volume), to suit pretty much all paddler sizes.

Introducing CoreLite X, the very latest in advanced roto-moulded kayak construction, from P&H Sea Kayaks. Combining exclusively developed and sourced materials, with industry leading precision machinery, and over 25 years of expertise, P&H have produced CoreLite X. An advanced triple layer (sandwich layer) construction that delivers an exceptional hull stiffness-to-weight ratio.
Compared to the previous CoreLite construction, CoreLite X (CLX) is on average 2 to 3kgs lighter, improving the boats ease of handling, both on and off the water. The increased hull stiffness greatly improves on-water performance, narrowing the gap between poleythlene and full composite sea kayaks.
The CoreLite X construction in a P&H Sea Kayak is a great option for both novice paddlers, and experience sea paddlers, venturing out in more challenging conditions.
