P&H Cetus Composite Sea Kayak
The Cetus, from P& Custom Sea Kayaks, is perhaps the ultimate fast, efficient, sea kayak, that is the go-to option for paddlers undertaking expeditions in the most challenging of conditions. The Cetus features a shallow v-hull design, combined with large rounded chines and slender bow & stern, it offers the best combination of stability and tracking. It's long waterline length makes maintaining a bearing easy, whilst its rounded chines offer remarkable stability, regardless of the paddling conditions. The Cetus can be appreciated by intermediate and expert sea kayakers alike, offering all that you'd want from an expedition sea kayak.
The 4 hatch layout of the Cetus, allows you to really load it up with kit for those multi-day excursions, to which the performance of the Cetus only improves, when under load. The addition of the mini and day hatches also make it easy for you to separate your kit, and have the essentials that you may need to access on the water, at arms reach.
Outfitted with all the features you can expect from a top-spec modern sea kayak. Featuring a classic drop-down skeg for fine tracking control. The bow deck features secure storage for a spare split paddle up on the bow, with a recess to accomodate a Silva 70p Compass. The Cetus is equipped with full deck lines and bungees, and bow/stern toggle handles.
The P&H Cetus is available in several advanced composite constructions including Performance Kevlar/Diolen to Expedition Carbon/Kevlar with full customisation options.
