The Discovery 169 canoe boasts an impressive carrying capacity in a hull design that provides great performance when loaded up. Designed for heading out on big adventures and multi-day camping trips, but equally as good for loading up with several children for activity centre and school use. The spacious hull will swallow up several big duffel bags or dry barrels of kit with room to spare! The moderate rocker hull performs great on both flatwater and low-mid grade moving water, allowing you to explore the wilderness and various waterways along the way without worry. The bow rocker allows the hull to push up and over rapids and provide a relatively dry ride.

With it's high capacity hull, the Discovery 169 performs best with two paddlers, with enough space to carry one or two childrenn too, making this canoe a good choice for family paddling adventures. Equipped with 2 x Ash Wood-Web Seats for either bench seating or traditional knelt paddling. The outfitting is finished with durable varnished Ash Yoke and Thwart, vinyl gunwales and tough polyethylene deck ends with built-in carry handles.
