The Nova Craft Pal 16 is another Chestnut Canoe classic, constructed from the lightweight and durable TuffStuff composite material. The original design was so popular it was renamed to 'Pal' to reflect the affection owners felt towards the canoe whilst and after using it!
Nova Craft have painstakingly reproduced the original lines to bring you one of the best general purpose traditional canoes ever made. The Pal feels stable on the water, handles rough water well and is comfortable in windy conditions too. It is well suited for flat water trips and short outings for sightseeing or fishing. Cruise and glide with ease on flat water. The Pal is a lovely canoe to paddle both solo or tandem, once you paddle one you will know why owners call it 'My Pal'. The Pal 16 really is a superb all-round canoe that will have you falling in love at first sight and paddle stroke!

- Ash framed seats with nylon lacing.
- Ash carry handles at bow and stern.
- Deluxe sculpted ash centre yoke (In our opinion the best standard fit canoe Yoke on the market), shaped to spread the weight across your shoulders evenly and even got a small notch for the small bone in your neck.
- Shallow arch shaped hull gives great stability whilst the slight rocker allows good manoeuvrability.
- Raised ends and symmetrical design allowing for solo or tandem paddling.
