Enigma Kayaks Fishing Pro 12 with Rudder
The Fishing Pro 12 is the best all-rounder fishing kayak in the Enigma Kayaks range and is a great option for coastal kayak fishing and fishing on larger inland waters. The 12ft hull offers good mix of stability and forwards speed, which is desirable when paddling against the wind or tide - a scenario where shorter kayaks will suffer and become hard work to paddle. The 12ft hull of the Fishing Pro 12 will cope much better with general inshore coastal conditions. The smooth hull glides well with a good bow shape to handle small choppy waves that are typically found on open coasts.
Well equipped for fishing, this model has two flush mount rod holders behind the seat that work well for stowing your rods whilst paddling, or for trolling a lure off the back of the kayak. Adjustable tip-toe footrests control the overstern rudder system, which further ehnaces the performance of this kayak in windy conditions and reduces the need for one-sided paddling when cutting across the wind. The rudder can be retracted onto the stern for launching and landing.
A good sized central storage console is located in the footwell offering plenty of room to store your fishing tackle within easy reach of the seat. The console cover makes a great place to mount accessories such as a fish finder or extra rod holders. A large rear storage area with bungee hold-downs is a great place to store larger items of gear, and will take a reasonable sized storage crate or fish bag for your catch. An easy-open front bow hatch with removable hatch bag offers even more storage space and is big enough to carry a fold up trolley.
This model offers a good combination of forwards speed and stability, making this a good choice for a wide range of paddlers.. This kayak is manufactured in LLDPE plastic and whilst the best fishing kayaks in the world are made of MDPE & HDPE grade plastics, LLDPE offers an excellent alternative at a lower overall cost. The Fishing Pro 12 offers superb value for money and is a great choice as a first fishing kayak for sea fishing or inland waters.
